Job Title: Quality Improvement Officer

The Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer supports the Lead- QHSSE to plan, coordinate, direct and evaluate the quality and compliance programs related to regulations, standards and guidelines of licensing, accreditation and certification agencies that govern care services. He promotes quality and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Oversees the review and approval of Standard Operating Procedures and ensures compliance with Hospital standards
Conduct monthly QA meetings across the hospital group
Keeps abreast of changes to quality regulations and guidelines advising the management team of any business implications of these changes.
Guides efforts to reduce and prevent errors, improvements in the safety and quality of our care services, and the protection of the health and safety of our patients
Involvement in the overall deviation management program to include investigation, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions and documentation.
Assists department managers in continuous quality improvement. Oversees, conducts and coordinates quality improvement/problem resolution training.
Responsible for the development, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of quality indicators.
Performs Quality Assurance audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the total quality system.
Participates in the development and implementation of audit tools used by the department as well as the review and follow up of all corrective actions.
Carry out external inspections. Ensures corrective actions are implemented and effective.
Serves as a trainer for quality, quality assurance, safety, and hospital wide training programs as well as QA modules/SOPs
Ensures processes are in control by monitoring data and related reports.

Formal training in Lean Tools, Six Sigma and ISO Implementation
Ability to work as a team member as well as act as team leader.
Salary in line with industry standard
