In 2023, Lily Academy was founded as
a bold response to one of the most
pressing healthcare challenges, the
critical shortage of knowledgeable
and skilled healthcare leaders and
managers, to accelerate the
transformation in the delivery of
quality healthcare services in Lily
Hospitals and Nigeria.
Recognizing this critical need, Lily
Hospitals established Lily Academy to
serve as a center of excellence in
healthcare leadership and
management, training, and
development.
The academy’s core mission is
clear: to cultivate future-ready
healthcare leaders and managers in
Lily hospitals and Nigeria through
world-class training, coaching, and
research tailored to local and global
healthcare challenges.
Overview
Lily Academy was established to

Nigeria, as it affects Lily Hospitals
transformation plan. The Academy is

Research Center, and a Leadership
Development Center, collectively

landscape in Nigeria. It will focus on
addressing the pressing needs for
well-trained human resources in the
Nigeria healthcare sector by

SCOPE OF THE LILY ACADEMY
Lily Leadership Center will offer a
comprehensive suite of programs
designed to build capacity and
enhance the skills of healthcare
professionals in leadership and
management. These include:
· Medical Residency Administration
Programs: Providing administrative
oversight for the specialized postgraduate
training for doctors to enhance clinical
expertise and prepare them for leadership.
· Medical Internship Administration
Programs: Offering structured
administration of internships to medical
graduates, ensuring hands-on experience
and mentorship under seasoned clinical
and corporate professionals.
· Core Leadership and Management
Competency Training: Conducting periodic
training sessions on both technical(hard)
and interpersonal(soft) skills to improve
professional managerial and leadership
performance.
· Sponsorship Programs Administration:
Supporting qualified healthcare
professionals in pursuing higher degrees
and certifications to advance their careers
through Lily hospitals scholarship schemes
